Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Line Cook
to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and executing our delicious Thai dishes to ensure the highest quality for our guests. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for cooking and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to the restaurant's menu and recipes
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of dishes
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including proper food storage
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment
Work efficiently and collaboratively with other kitchen staff to fulfill orders in a timely manner
Manage multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours without compromising quality
Assist with inventory management, food prep, and maintaining kitchen equipment
Adhere to all company policies, including health, safety, and food handling standards
Qualifications
Prior experience as a line cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a small, tight-knit team
Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing demands
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
