Level II Certified Dental Assistant needed for a Toronto Beaches Practice

Our office is growing and we are looking to bring on another assistant.

Full time hours: Monday to Friday

HOURS (opening and closing 30 min before and after below listed times)

Monday/ Tuesday - 10:00 am -5:00 pm

Wednesday/Thursday- 11:30pm - 7:00pm

Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (summer hours 2pm)

Level 2 Dental Assistant required for a busy dental practice in the Toronto Beaches area. The candidate must be professional, have strong interpersonal skills, and have an excellent work ethic. We are seeking a warm, friendly, kind, reliable, adaptable, detail-oriented dental assistant to join our vibrant but small team operating with 1 Dentist and 2 Hygiene.

RESPONSIBILITIES (shared between two assistants)

Welcome, seat and develop a relationship with patients Keep office organized and stocked Taking photos Chair-side assisting Use of intra-oral scanner Use of computer to upload images/type notes Set up trays Disinfecting and cleaning rooms Opening and closing duties Maintaining accurate patient charts and record-keeping Assisting with instrument reprocessing Keeping track of inventory Opening the package deliveries Office laundry Other responsibilities in downtime Minor equipment maintenance
REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent comprehensive patient-focused skills Positive team playing attitude CPR certification (provided annually inhouse) HARP certified with strong skills in taking radiographs Able to take photographs and digital scans (training will be provided)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
