Job Description

GNF Investments is a property holding company with a portfolio consisting of residential apartments, houses, apartments and various commercial properties.

We are hiring a skilled and dependable

Handyman

to join our team full-time, specializing in

general residential repairs

with a strong focus on

appliance troubleshooting and repair

. You'll be working in rental and residential properties throughout the HRM.

Responsibilities:



Perform a wide range of general repairs: drywall patching, light plumbing, caulking, minor carpentry, etc. Diagnose and repair common household appliances (fridges, ovens, dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc.) Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to repair requests promptly Maintain detailed records of completed work and parts used Communicate with property managers and tenants in a professional manner

Qualifications:



Proven experience in residential repairs and appliance servicing Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Must have your own basic tools (specialty tools or parts provided)

Reliable vehicle required

(travel across HRM) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset May need to work weekends as required due to the nature of the industry
