We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support for children in a family setting. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, dependable, and experienced in working with children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while ensuring their safety and well-being. The position requires flexibility, patience, and excellent communication skills to foster a supportive environment for children to thrive.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs Assist with homework, teaching basic educational concepts, and encouraging curiosity Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to children's areas Provide caregiving support for children with special needs or disabilities as required Follow family routines and schedules for naps, playtime, meals, and bedtime Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns Ensure children's safety at all times by monitoring their activities both indoors and outdoors

Skills

Experience working with children across different age groups Proficiency in meal preparation and cooking for children's dietary requirements Ability to care for children with disabilities or special needs with patience and understanding Strong caregiving skills combined with a nurturing attitude Ability to teach basic skills, foster creativity, and encourage positive behavior Good cleaning skills to maintain a tidy play area and living space Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and children Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for childcare
We are looking for a candidate to work mainly Mon-Fri, but candidates who can work flexible days/ hours will be given priority.

We travel for work from time to time, so flexibility to travel and a valid passport are an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $41,600.00 per year
