We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. This role requires effective communication skills, organizational abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching young learners.

Requirements & Responsibilities



Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Ontario Teaching Certificate (OCT) in good standing is a must. Strong understanding of the Ontario Curriculum and the Growing Success documents. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the varying abilities of students. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and observations, providing feedback to students and parents as necessary. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support students with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance and behavioral issues. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Great communication skills with parents, students, and co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner. Creative, flexible, innovative, and positive approach to teaching. Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage. Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that support students with disabilities or diverse learning needs. A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young minds through creative lesson delivery. Thrives in a positive team environment and easily adapts to new things.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
