Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a blend of clinical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities to create a welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus. Experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous for managing patient interactions effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a positive attitude.
