Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail oriented Conveyancer. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated with a minimum of 3 years of hands on residential real estate conveyancing experience. This individual will be able to manage real estate files from open to close with no supervision and should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
-handle real estate conveyancing files from intake to post-closing independently
-draft and prepare conveyancing documents including transfer forms, mortgages, statements of adjustments and trust letters
-liaise with clients, lenders, realtors and other law firms promptly and professionally
-perform title searches and review land title documents
-prepare and manage closing documents and financial statements
-ensure accuracy and compliance
-maintain accurate records and file organization
Requirements
-minimum 3 years of full cycle residential conveyancing experience in BC
-ability to manage a high volume of files without supervision
-in depth knowledge of BC real estate practices and Land Title Office procedures
-proficiency with LDD, BC Online and MS Office Suite
-attention to detail, punctuality and time management skills
-strong communication and interpersonal skills
Assets (not mandatory)
Knowledge of Hindi and or Punjabi is considered a strong asset
