Sussex Agricultural Co-operative 1841 Ltd. is hiring for the following position:
Full Time Cashier
Our Co-op Country Store is looking for an experienced Cashier to join our growing team. We are committed to providing exceptional service to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating Point of Sale system
Cash handling and balance at end of day
Maintaining a neat and clean work area and cash station
Assisting customers
Restocking and merchandising our retail store
Assisting drive-thru customers
Answering phone and taking orders
Working with live animals
Assist in other areas of our retail store
Skills and Qualifications:
Cashier experience is required
Agriculture knowledge is required
Mature and responsible
Required to work evening and weekend shifts
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Able to stand for extended periods of time (6-8 hours)
Able to work independently
Able to lift 20kg +
Strong communication skills
