JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled and reliable AZ Shunt Truck Driver / Yard Jockey in the

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO

area to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exercising safe and efficient practices when operating equipment adhering to all driving regulations. 6 months of shunting experience and 1 year of AZ driving experience required. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely moves and service to our customers and team. At Lazer we are driven to achieve!

$23-$24 per Hour

Potential Shift Differentials

Overtime after 44 Hours

Weekly Pay (Payroll Only)

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all AZ regulations and Lazer's guidelines Transport trailers to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state and industry regulations Ensure proper handling of equipment and products for our customers in accordance with agreed services Communicate and work effectively with dispatchers, customers, team members and/or third-party vendors working in the designated work location. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents.

Qualifications

Valid AZ Drivers License Minimum 1 year AZ experience required Previous shunting experience preferred Must have a current and clean driving abstract Ability to handle long hours and adapt to various weather conditions. Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to perform physical tasks such as getting in and out of the truck multiple times throughout your shift.
