Position: Security Guard

Status: Full Time - Afternoons

Hours: Monday to Friday - 1500-2300

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Site Description: The Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (Toronto Rehab) is at the forefront of one of the most important and emerging frontiers in health care today \xe2\x80\x93 rehabilitation science. A fully affiliated teaching and research hospital of the University of Toronto, Toronto Rehab is dedicated to advancing rehabilitation and enhancing quality of life for the 3.6 million Canadians, and millions more worldwide, living with disabling injury and illness or age-related conditions.

: In this key role, you will oversee a state of the art healthcare Control Centre. Your role will be to monitor numerous systems including fire and life safety, access control and CCTV. You will assist in tracking and deployment of security staff and handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking.

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites: * Immunization Record \xe2\x80\x93 (Tuberculosis, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria/Pertussis &Influenza Vaccine (If not received at Sinai Health, Staff must inform OHS of their influenza vaccination status)

• A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Proficient in English (both oral and written)
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• COVID Double Vaccination

Certification Requirements (Any)

Minimum 6 months security experience
Use of Force in Class Training
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
Use of Force
