Full Stack Web Developer Subject Matter Expert

Job Description
The Subject Matter Expert will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Full Stack Web Developer Program related programs.
PTIB Standards:
Credential Requirement:
Relevant credential plus a minimum of two years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction. No credential but a minimum of ten years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction.
Occupational Experience Needed (Job title / occupation)
Experience in 5- 10 years in leading projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Educational Background:
Hold a degree, diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Certifications in specific technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Certified ScrumMaster) can be advantageous.
Professional Experience:
Have at least 3 years of teaching experience, and 24 months of occupational web development experience, OR 5-10 years of professional experience in full stack web development, with a proven track record of developing and deploying web applications.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in foundational web languages: HTML5, CSS, and Javascript. Knowledge of programming with React or another, similar, front-end framework, text editor such as VS Code, Git and GitHub. Mastery in digital instruction, with hands-on experience using advanced edtech tools Good time management and communication skills
Compensation:
This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $300 Canadian per project
