$90,798.60 - $103,856.88 annually. We expect to hire at the minimum of the range.

A day in the life:
Today is an 'in office day' so upon entering the office, you grab a cup of coffee and have a quick chat with your colleagues before settling in for a new day of meaningful work. Looking at your Outlook calendar, today you will be working with the Business Practices & Classification team, exploring how to improve their reporting processes from a technical perspective. At lunch you join others for a potluck. For the afternoon, you are completing a work order by debugging a license renewal process.
In between your scheduled work and meetings, you regularly help solve complex problems by being involved in projects that challenge you to come up with creative solutions. Towards the end of your day, you research some of the latest standards and best practices in the cybersecurity field and highlight a few takeaways to share at the next Business Systems & Solutions team meeting.
As you head out the door, you feel a great deal of satisfaction, knowing your work has a significant impact on our business systems interoperability in a complex multi-faceted environment. You appreciate the ability to be involved with other departments and appreciate the opportunity to learn something new every single day.

What you will be doing:
Lead the technical design, development, integration and implementation of custom applications including user and system interfaces.
Lead, recommend or participate in the maintenance of software development standards, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and cybersecurity standards throughout the software development life cycle.
Design, develop and test application solutions to ensure specific design requirements are adhered to and meet stringent functional and performance specifications.
We are looking for people who have:
Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., information technology, computer science and/or several years' directly related experience and/or a combination of formal training and experience.
Three or more years' experience on leading system application projects using Angular, Microsoft .Net, Web services, SQL server and Microsoft 365 (including Planner and PowerBI).
Significant experience with Azure DevOps, VSCode, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, C#, Angular Framework, Typescript, Visual Studio, DevExpress, and Git.
