Job Description

Purpose:

The primary purpose (but not limited to)will be to assist efforts at Total Meter Services with the development of our software products on a .Net platform. This will entail completing development tasks, documentation, testing and meeting with development group regularly. Additionally, the position will support and install software applications and components and be involved with new development design, re-design, and implementation of any new .Net software products.

TMS development projects involve desktop, web and IOT applications for the petroleum industry.

Additional responsibilities will include providing technical support, field implementation assistance and training to customers for the products offered by Total Meter Services Inc.

Position reports to the TMS Automation & Software Development Manager

Technology Requirements:

JavaScript React Electron C# Azure IOT SQL, PostgreSQL GIT
Minimum five-years' experience required

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update current development projects Work cooperatively with development group to meet timelines and objects Create and deliver data-driven reports Understand business requirements and design solutions based on those requirements Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects Investigate and develop skills in new technologies Create technical specifications and test plans Create new and extend existing operational documentation Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems Implement new software builds Other duties as required

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Developing and maintaining customer relationships

Documenting issues and reporting trends to Department Manager.

Assisting with project implementation on site.

Keeping up to date and adhering to all company policies
