Job Description

The Full Stack Agile Development Lead position is part of the Global Equities Technology department to support Structured Products within Equity Derivatives.

We deliver utilizing feature flags, test-driven development (TDD) and end-to-end automated testing.

You will champion clean code and TDD within Structured Products along with other teams.

Citi\xe2\x80\x99s Structured Products offer financial flexibility to customers who can choose between different categories of risk.

Responsibilities:

Develop software from initial stage to production releases.

Collaborate with the rest of the team to share knowledge.

Build relationships with business users with excellent stakeholder management,

Perform functional and declarative programming.

Support trading platforms.

Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.

Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.

Resolve high impact problems for projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.

Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.

Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.

Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure will integrate to accomplish business goals.

Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions.

Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts and allocating work.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm\'s reputation, its clients, and assets.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy.

Apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices.

Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

6-10+ years of relevant experience in Software Development.

Front-end: React, typescript, redux

Backend: Scala (cats, akka), Kotlin, graphql

DB: Mongo, SQL, Couchbase

ECS, Jenkins

Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.

Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.

Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Education:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.
