Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our clients team in Ottawa, Ontario. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the construction industry. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be expected to manage customer accounts, process applications, and maintain meticulous records, while resolving any customer inquiries.Responsibilities:-Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.-Manage full cycle payroll for multiple employees, utilizing Jonas Software.-Maintain precise customer credit records.-Oversee credit card reconciliations and expense reports.-Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.-Perform bank reconciliations and manage billing functions.-Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).-Handle collections for overdue accounts exceeding 60 days.-Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook for various accounting functions.-Operate accounting software systems and ADP - Financial Services for efficient functioning.-Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper-Proficient in Accounting Software Systems-Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary-Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook-Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions-Experienced in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)-Proven track record in completing Bank Reconciliations-Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently-Experienced in Full Cycle Payroll processingRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
