Job Description

This Bookkeeper role would be a long-term temporary position, located in the North York, Ontario area. Robert Half has partnered with an esteemed organization in commercial real estate property management to help find a professional Bookkeeper with top-notch communication skills to join their collaborative team. This opportunity is seriously worth checking out! If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. This is a part-time position (4 days/week, 8 hours/day) and must be done on-site at the office in North York.

Responsibilities:

- Full-cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable

- Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

- Prepare year-end working papers for external accountant

- Basic payroll assistance (HST returns, adjustments, etc.)

- Examine payments received and record deposits

- Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

- Balance accounts by reconciling entries

- Maintain and review General Ledger

Qualifications

- Experience in the commercial real estate property management industry

- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

- 3+ years\' experience in similar role required

- Previous experience using QuickBooks Desktop is an asset

- Proficient in MS Office Suite

- Experience with Yardi software is an asset

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Highly organized and possess strong attention to detail
