As we continue to expand our brand across North America, we are looking for an experienced Fulfillment & Distribution Manager to help unlock further growth in our Distribution network. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in overseeing and optimizing Omni-Channel Distribution and Fulfillment Operations with a core focus in the retail industry. The Manager will be accountable for the success of our current and future North American Distribution network while building and implementing continuous improvement programs across to support our network growth. Among other things, you will be expected to:

Oversee Canadian Fulfillment Operations in partnership with our Canadian DC Ops Manager

Drive operational excellence in our US Distribution network through our existing 3PL

Build distribution network optimization roadmaps that align with our future business goals, including the selection and design of new Distribution Centers or leveraging 3PL partnerships

Develop and implement lean six sigma programs to improve efficiency and reduce OPEX across our North American Distribution Network

Comprehensive project management from start to finish for critical Supply Chain initiatives, including projects that involve an IT component

Own the reporting and data analysis on Supply Chain performance and KPI tracking on fulfillment and distribution operations.

Implementing best-in-class warehouse practices, including safety protocols, inventory control, and warehouse layout optimization

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence

Develop and execute in partnership with our IT team a technology road map plan that supports current and future DC operations

Continuously innovate and create efficiencies in our fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, and shipping

Mentor team members, providing regular feedback and coaching

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety regulations

Stay up to date on the retail and distribution landscape, and developing long-term strategies to remain competitive

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Engineering, Fulfilment and/or Distribution Operations and deep expertise in the following areas:

Managing medium to large warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment

Developing and implementing lean six sigma programs, including process mapping, value stream analysis, and root cause analysis

Leading large-scale project development, including the creation of business cases, project management, and stakeholder engagement

Knowledge of the retail and distribution landscape, including industry trends and competitive pressures

Experience working with 3PLs, including contract negotiations and relationship management

Building technical business requirement documents (BRD), roadmaps and implementation of new software solutions such as WMS, TMS

Developing high-performing teams, including coaching and feedback, performance management, and talent development

Experience in change management, including driving cultural change and managing resistance to change

Developing and implementing sustainable processes that support long-term business growth

Data analysis and deriving initiatives and improvement programs that are data informed

BACKGROUND + CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field is a must. Candidates with the following degrees are preferred:

Industrial Engineering

Supply Chain Management

Business Administration with a concentration in Operations or Logistics

Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management, Lean Six Sigma, and/or Project Management

Knowledge of warehouse management systems and other relevant technology platforms is required. Proficiency or familiarity with the following systems are a plus:

NetSuite ERP

RF-Smart WMS

ShipHawk

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making is a prerequisite
