Description


The purpose of the

Fulfillment Associate

role is to ensure all required tasks in the fulfillment and shipping process are completed in a timely manner, to Bridgehead's service and quality standards, and while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Greet and interact with all team members, vendors, customers in a professional and friendly manner Able to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times Provide customers with immediate service whether in person or via telephone Ensure customers and team members are safe at all times Adhere to company's dress code Respond to all questions, orders and concerns in a professional and friendly manner

GENERAL DUTIES

Carry out all tasks required to process orders through various channels, which includes Business to Consumer (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B) Pack products according to customer orders Bag and seal roasted coffee into packages Review, select, and safely pack items for delivery using order forms, inventory and labelling systems. Monitor inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels, which includes managing and tallying of coffee inventory & retail products on a daily and monthly basis Assist with the ordering of day-to-day supplies needed; Receive, stock, and organize products at the roastery Keep the packing line and production area tidy and organized by following daily and weekly checklists Carry out all other reasonable duties assigned by the company Contribute positively to the team; communicate effectively with other employees. Assist with the maintenance of roasting equipment. Other duties as assigned.

POLICIES AND STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES:

Responsible for complying with all Bridgehead policies for: Proper product preparation Careful handling of products Correctly label product Controlling shrink (internal and external) Ensure they follow the Organic certification protocol

HEALTH AND FOOD SAFETY STANDARDS

Responsible for complying with all Bridgehead policies and standard operating procedures: Follow food safety standards Follow health and workplace safety standards Clean equipment and appropriate work stations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of secondary education is required Possession of a valid G-Class provincial driver's license is considered an asset Possession of a valid Forklift License is considered an asset Familiarity of iOS systems is considered an asset Previous experience in a food production facility, packing line, or repetitive work environment is considered an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in a warehouse environmentally with exposure to a motorized equipment is operated Prolonged periods of sitting and standing are required on a daily basis Requirement to occasionally assist with lifting bins full of roasted beans Requirement to occasionally assist with lifting coffee bags * The noise level in the work environment is loud and will require proper ear protection to be worn.
