Deliver fuel to equipment at various work sites in Calgary and the surrounding area.
Inspect equipment fluid levels daily
Perform daily preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks to proactively identify any potential mechanical issues and advises the Transportation/Service Manager
Keep truck in clean and professional condition at all times
Complete daily accurate pre-inspections and post-inspections regulatory logs and timesheets
Complete daily accurate Field Level Hazard Assessment sheets for all worksites.
Ensure truck/trailer are returned to the company yard full of fuel at the end of each day
Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum 2-year experience
Must have a valid Class 3 driver's license and provide current 5-year driver abstract
Must be able to drive standard (18 speed)
Active TDG
Active Standard First Aid Certification is considered an asset.
Construction Safety Training System (CSTS2020) Certification
Ability to identify and describe mechanical issues on the truck/trailer
Knowledge of heavy equipment
Must have own transportation with strong knowledge of Calgary and surrounding area
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Must be available to work long hours including evenings and weekends
Must have CSA approved safety boots
Able to sit for long periods of time and look over shoulder
Able to climb up and down from equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
