Performing major and minor repairs to various mechanical systems
Carrying out plumbing repairs and modifications to fuel and exhaust systems
Carrying out start-up inspections of new or rebuilt equipment installations
Ensuring proper in-house maintenance is performed on vehicles, workshop, yard, shop equipment and tools
Completing all required administrative work-order documentation to ensure costs are correctly allocated, and customer information is captured
Other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time consistent with the position of Junior Technician and the job description and duties set out above.
What You Need (Requirement)
Oil Burner Technician Certification - Class 2 (Ontario) is an asset
Petroleum Mechanic (PM3) is an asset
HVAC, Gas, Welding certifications are an asset
Minimum of 1 years' experience working in the field
In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government, be available for work.
Working Conditions
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
Heavy lifting and physical exertion, is required
Overtime as required.
Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required
