We are currently recruiting for a Fuel Oil Technician to join our growing Mechanical team. Reporting to the Mechanical Team Lead, the successful candidate will be a team player, exemplify our core values, and have a strong commitment to site safety.

Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair oil-burner related equipment and oil tanks.
• Ensure that fuel supply, ventilation, and wiring meet safety and efficiency standards.
• Perform maintenance on heating equipment that operate with a gas or oil burner.
• Layout and assemble oil burner heating systems components.
• Test installed units and adjust controls for proper functioning and efficiency.
• Clean and replace parts.
• Install control systems for heating systems.
• Pull permits.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.

• Must possess Oil Burner Mechanic license / Red Seal certification.
• Certified to work in the Yukon.
• Journeyperson Plumber certification an asset.
• Min. 5 years\' experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial Oil Burners
• Must possess own tools necessary to complete tasks.
• Solid understanding of modern construction practices.
• Understanding of construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction costs and budgets.
• A strong safety record and the ability to work with a variety of individuals.
• Travel and perform work in various locations.
• Experience with Salus and Procore would be an asset.
