Fuel & Lube Technicians - Work Hard, Play Hard!

We are currently accepting resumes for a

Combo Truck Operator,

in a

safety-sensitive

position that is motivated, committed and wants to grow with us. The Technician will work 12-hour days on a rotation of 6-on followed by 6-off (3 day shifts followed by 3 night shifts) starting at 7:30.

Transportation is provided from multiple locations within Fort McMurray. You are responsible to get to the pick-up/drop-off location.

The Job

:

Combo Truck Operators

are responsible for refueling, lubricating and topping up fluids on Syncrude and their contractor's fleet. In order to meet the demands of this position effectively, technicians must be able to:

Understand, adhere to and comply with all safety and environmental policies and initiatives Complete hazard assessments to a high standard acceptable by OH&S Prioritize correct order of equipment to refuel Inspect and document damage and defects Perform minor maintenance Cross-train to cover off positions/expectations

Fuel & Lube Technicians in the Oil Sands will earn a base rate of

$31.54 - $38.93/hour

What We Are Looking For:

A desire to make a difference and take pride in your work Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices Experience in the Oil Sands is ideal

ADVANCED CLASS 5 DRIVERS LICENSE with a clean driver's abstract

Must be willing to work shift work (day & night shifts on a rotation) Previous experience in a Fuel & Lube Division and/or have operated an Articulated Rock Truck or a Fuel & Lube Combo Truck Collaborative communication style Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must

be able to complete a Respirator Fit test and don a mask at any time while at work, which also means compliance with

facial hair requirements

to ensure a complete seal for the mask
