Peninsula Co-op

With approximately 450 staff, Peninsula Co-op operates 17 retail fuel and convenience centres, 10 liquor stores, 3 commercial card lock and home heating outlets, and a full-sized food store. The Co-op generates approximately $300 million in annual sales and donates over $500k each year to local charities. The business is highly regarded, financially strong, and has developed a loyal member following. The Co-op remains locally owned and proudly shares profits with its 127,000 member-owners, community, and staff.

Fuel and Convenience Centre Associate

(we would like to call you a Customer Service Representative). We have a

part-time

offering

8- 16 hours per week

opportunity available at our

McDonald Park Fuel and Convenience Centre,

located at

10350 McDonald Park Rd., Sidney, BC V8L 3H8.

Our ideal candidate is fully available during weekends.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are a people first business, with a strong focus on our customer and member needs. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our dedicated and engaged team members. We are looking for enthusiastic customer service professionals who:

Always looks for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite Loves the great outdoors. Rain, wind, snow and blazing hot sun mean nothing. Able to be on their feet nearly all their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 50 pounds) Good with numbers and can handle cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately. Looks out for their safety and the safety of others. Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate. Knows their way around under the hood of a car is also helpful, but not essential - we train for this.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Besides working with the best group of teammates and serving fantastic customers, you will be dispensing fuel, washing windows, checking vehicle fluid levels, cleaning, and stocking the convenience store, and generally ensuring our customers are taken care of and the location is clean and safe.
