POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is to provide customer service to clients and support to the Optometrists within the office. In this position you will be responsible for preparing clients for their eye examinations, booking appointments, supporting clients with their frame selections, and fulfilling the daily administrative duties of the office. You will support the office vision of providing our clients with an exceptional experience and building a culture of quality eye care.
On a Practical Level:
You will support client care that includes exam pretesting, booking appointments, and recalls
You will support inventory management
You will sell products to clients in a manner that engages clients and respects their lifestyle
You will upkeep the environment of the office as warm and welcoming
You will provide excellent customer services
Education and Experience:
2 years of experience in an optometric or opticianry clinic
Skills Required:
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Knowledge of computer applications
Ability to work independently
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and effectively manage time
Professional and friendly composure
Etobicoke Optometrists is located in the heart of Etobicoke and is a full scope Optometry practice. The office operates 5 days a week and provides a range of ocular health care to its clients. Services include comprehensive eye exams, glasses and contact lenses, vision therapy, dry eye therapy and referrals to ophthalmologists. Training for our electronic system, products and equipment will be provided.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
