Position Overview:


We are looking for a talented and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our team. Responsibilities:



Perform thorough dental examinations and assessments to evaluate the overall oral health of patients. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and preferences of each patient. Provide a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring the highest standards of care. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and available treatment options to empower them in maintaining optimal oral health. Collaborate effectively with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure the seamless operation of the practice and superior patient care. Stay informed on the latest advancements in dental techniques, technologies, and industry best practices through continuing education and professional development.

Skills



Ability to perform comprehensive dental examinations and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Proficient in providing routine dental procedures, including restorative treatments, extractions, root canals, and other general dentistry services. Certification in oral sedation and nitrous oxide administration is preferred; certification in baby frenectomy is a bonus. Experience in providing Invisalign treatment or a strong interest in learning and expanding expertise in orthodontics. Proficiency in the use of CEREC technology, or a willingness to learn and master this advanced system. Strong ability to collaborate effectively with the dental team, ensuring a high standard of care and a seamless patient experience. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members, fostering positive relationships. A deep commitment to delivering exceptional patient care with a compassionate and empathetic approach. Strict adherence to all relevant dental regulations, ethical standards, and best practices to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Requirements



Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency program Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements Valid CPR certification
