Full-Time Educational Nanny Needed in Mount Pleasant (Brantford) to Start ASAP, Earn Up to $35/Hour!

This lovely family of four in Mount Pleasant, Brantford, with two children ages 5 and 8, is looking for a full-time nanny to become part of their team. They are offering up to $35 per hour for the right candidate.


Schedule:


Monday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Tuesday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM


Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Thursday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM


Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Note: Flexibility is important to the family as they will occasionally need longer days (with advance notice).


Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


Providing general childcare. Reinforcing family values and expectations with consistency and care, and supporting a structured home learning environment. Ensuring safe and punctual transportation by driving the children to and from nature school, sports, swimming, and other weekly activities. Encouraging outdoor, nature-based learning and hands-on projects aligned with their homeschooling approach. Accompanying the family on vacations and work-related trips within the USA (three times a year for 1-2 weeks at a time). Providing occasional weekend coverage, especially during busy seasons or travel weeks. Maintaining child-focused housekeeping by tidying up after meals and activities, keeping children's rooms and play areas organized, and helping with light laundry and other child-related household tasks.

They are a close-knit, intentional family with two young daughters. The family has chosen an alternative educational path, blending nature school, homeschooling, travel, and real-world learning experiences. Both parents are deeply involved in their children's growth and are looking for someone who can help reinforce the intentional environment they have built.


The family also has a gentle and affectionate six-year-old golden retriever. While pet care is not a central part of the nanny role, they are looking for someone who is comfortable around dogs and can occasionally let her out or take her for a walk if needed.


Driving is required, and a vehicle for work purposes will be provided.
