Job Description

We are looking for a fast-paced, detail-oriented, tech-savvy people person who can quickly identify, test, and price electronics for our customers. As a Secondhand Electronics Buyer, you will be responsible for building customer relationships and closing multiple daily buying, selling, and trading transactions. You must identify, test, and assess a wide variety of consumer electronics, from laptops & phones to vintage gaming systems, and consult with customers on purchases and trades.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, explain our process, and build strong customer relationships. Quickly identify, test, and evaluate a wide range of electronics (phones, tablets, laptops, gaming systems, cameras, etc.) using our software and external resources to determine accurate pricing and market trends. Negotiate pricing with our customers, keeping a professional demeanor and business acumen. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow established procedures. Stay up-to-date on electronics, second-hand market values, and store promotions.

Requirements

Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Accuracy is paramount as you will be entering the final records of purchase. Strong people skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with diverse customers. Must be able to follow protocol and procedures. Understanding of popular second-hand online auction sites, and the ability to reference/search completed listings of products quickly. Sales experience is a plus, but not required. Well-spoken (English) with a professional appearance.
Flexible work schedule for the right candidate, Part Time / Full Time / Early & Late Hours possible. Typical available hours are 10 AM - 7 PM, Monday - Friday and 10 AM - 6 PM Weekends.

Pay: $17.60-$19.60 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
