We're West Coast Kids - A Canadian, family owned, independent retailer founded 40+ years ago.

We strive to offer the best quality products including furniture, decor, quality & functional baby gear and stylish clothing and shoes for children up to 5 years old. As a Canadian company, we are also proud to offer Canadian made products and creations. We currently operate 11 retail stores across Canada and and eCommerce shop (westcoastkids.ca).

As we continue to grow, we're looking for energetic, friendly & ambitious sales advisers to join our team! We want someone who lives to learn, loves interacting with customers and has the same core values as us. Being a parent is an asset!

Individuals must be available to work 40 hours per week, with an open flexibility and weekend availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Keep up-to-date with new products & product changes Listening, communicating & educating customers about different products and their benefits Providing exceptional customer service. And we mean exceptional! Assisting customers in finding products suitable for their lifestyle and needs Maintaining inventory levels on the floor Daily housekeeping duties: section maintenance, clean-up, etc. Interacting with customers in-store and over the phone Creating a comfortable & friendly shopping environment Cash handling

QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and love to learn about new products A true commitment to excellent customer service is essential Strong communication skills both written & verbal Possess an enthusiastic and fun, yet professional attitude Polite and courteous High attention to detail Self-sufficient & takes initiative Ability to work quickly, efficiently & under pressure Highly motivated, determined & committed so success Ability to think critically Flexible work schedule
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
