Job Overview

We are seeking a fun positive and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our Guide Biofilm Therapy hygiene/ dental practice.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining patients' oral health by providing professional cleaning, education, and preventive care. Duties

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take intraoral digital dental radiographs as needed and CBCT/ Panorex xrays Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software Manage sterilization of dental instruments and ensure infection control protocols are followed Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Support the dental team with administrative tasks as necessary, including scheduling appointments and updating patient information

Skills

Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental management software Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations Experience in dental assisting or related roles is preferred Strong customer service skills to ensure positive patient experiences Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills Prior experience working in a dental office setting is advantageous

Pay: $75.00-$80.00 per hour
