Hours of Work= 07:00 - 1500

Job Duties: * In accordance with the Preventive Maintenance Program, performs preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment and prepares/maintains required reports and records.

• Practices and promotes energy conservation.
• Remains knowledgeable of current codes and regulations pertaining to the maintenance of the facility.
• Demonstrates respect to all customers, by working with them in a calm, courteous manner
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications: * Minimum of two years experience in a related position to obtain sufficient practical experience to satisfactorily perform the responsibilities of the position.

• Preference will be given to applicants with carpentry, electrical or plumbing knowledge, and a Power Engineering Fifth Class certificate.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.
• Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates concern and interest in providing a safe and attractive environment for facility customers, i.e., residents, guests, and staff.
• Demonstrates effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to function as an effective team member with other Staff, Residents, Families and the Public.
• Available for emergency call-back when necessary.
