Soma Chocolatemaker is looking for FT BOH Production Assistant at our Distillery Location. Work within a small dynamic passionate team to make award-winning bean to bar chocolate and gelato.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to increase their knowledge, learn techniques and gain experience in chocolate/bakery/gelato production.

Duties:
Assisting with making chocolate and confections
Requirements:
A passion to learn about the chocolate Experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is mandatory. Experience in a chocolate setting is an asset but not mandatory Pastry and baking experience is mandatory Detail-oriented and consistent Able to understand and speak English Able to work independently and in a team Able to lift a minimum of 20kg Able to stand for long periods of time Able to work legally in Canada (work visa or permanent resident)
Wage: Competitive hourly
