Job Description
Purpose:
Prepare FSL students to improve their French and potentially pass a testResponsibilities:
- plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that facilitate an active learning experience
- observe and evaluate student's performance and development
- assign and grade class work, homework, and assignments where necessary
- provide detailed feedback on work (written and verbal)
- monitor for plagiarism and other academic offences
- encourage the progress of individual students
- maintain accurate and complete student records
- meet strict grading deadlines
Qualifications / Education Requirements:
- University degree
- Experience teaching FSL to adult learners
- Experience with Zoom is required
- Must be present in Canada and authorized to work in Canada
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday evenings 6:30-9:00pm
Method of teaching:
Classes will be delivered online via zoom
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
