We are seeking a dedicated Fry Cook to join our Ideal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, maintaining high standards of food safety, and delivering excellent service to our customers. Duties
Prepare and cook fried foods and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is cooked safely and efficiently, adhering to food handling and safety guidelines
Serve food promptly and accurately to customers or servers
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, or portioning ingredients
Follow proper food safety procedures during meal preparation and service
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Skills
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred
Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and restaurant operations
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques, especially frying methods
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Kitchen experience within the food industry is highly desirable
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail in food presentation and safety practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$25.49 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
