PIZZA ASSEMBLER (FOOD PRODUCTION)
Candidates can expect to do a range of tasks from making and topping pizza for our frozen pizza line to working on food prep, dough making and handling trays of food and packaging. We\'re looking for those who are great team players, learn quickly, and excited about working with and learning about pizza! Expected start date is Feb and initial phone screening interviews are being scheduled as soon as you apply.
The Schedule is Wed - Sun, 9am - 530pm
We are located at 6880 Pacific Circle, Mississauga.
WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED

• Ability to work with your hands and assemble food (pizzas!)

• Ability to work with various types of ingredients: meat, herbs, dairy, cheese etc

• Start on time and follow work instructions of your supervisor
• Follow good manufacturing practices and safety practices
• Work with food in a safe manner
• Love pizza

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Topping pizzas neatly and with quickly

• Packaging frozen pizzas, metal detecting pizzas and performing quality checks on all packaged pizzas
• Neatly sauce pizzas, firing pizza shells and ensure quality of pizza

• Show up on time to scheduled shifts - punctuality and attendance are crucial!
• Learn work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Top pizza with various toppings - meat, dairy, cheese, basil etc
• Mix dough and move dough bins
• Maintain housekeeping standards - clean stations at the end of the day

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience handling food, working in a food manufacturing environment is a must
• Team player, you like working with others in teams and have a positive attitude
• Speak and understand English

• Ability to work fast, this job requires a full range of movement and pace

• Be able to work shift work - we have 2 shift times - 8am-4pm and 9am-5pm
• Quick learner, and excited about working with and learning about pizza!
