Duties
Support the Store Manager in leading, training, and motivating staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
Assist with daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cashier functions, and maintaining store standards.
Provide direction to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and customer needs are met.
Help coordinate staff schedules and communicate daily priorities.
Assist with interviewing and onboarding new employees as needed.
Support inventory-related tasks such as receiving, stocking, rotation, and conducting stock counts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
Use POS systems accurately for transactions, voids, returns, and reporting.
Communicate operational concerns, staff issues, and customer feedback to store management.
Requirements
Previous retail experience required; supervisory experience is an asset.
Strong understanding of cashiering procedures and POS systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to provide guidance to staff and support the manager with scheduling and task delegation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional phone etiquette and a customer-first attitude.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle issues independently when needed.
