Position Summary:
Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager & Reservations Manager, the Front Office Supervisor will lead the day-to-day operations of the front desk, bell services, and hotel shuttle team. You will ensure the delivery of a memorable guest experience by leading by example with a professional and positive attitude. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests and staff, handling administrative tasks and team leadership to create an efficient and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Front Office team to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Act as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, working closely with other departments to resolve issues.
Provide leadership and motivation to the Front Office team, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Oversee guest check-in and check-out procedures with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure consistency in front office processes and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Conduct new staff onboarding and training, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
Support room allocation, availability, and revenue management goals through effective inventory management.
Handle progressive corrective actions as required to maintain service excellence.
Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of hospitality and tourism experience required.
Previous Front Office and Property Management System (PMS) experience is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.
Knowledge of Nita Lake Lodge, Creekside, and Whistler Resort is an asset.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with physically demanding tasks as needed.
