Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Front of House Supervisor/Barista to lead our front-of-house team and deliver exceptional hospitality. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on barista duties, ensuring that every guest receives an authentic Forno Cultura experience. Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership:
Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
Lead, mentor, and train the front-of-house staff, promoting teamwork and high standards.
Ensure adherence to Forno Cultura's customer service principles, promoting a welcoming environment.
Manage shift scheduling and staff performance, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
Barista Duties:
Prepare and serve coffee to highest standard.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and front-of-house areas.
Ensure product quality and presentation reflect Forno Cultura's artisanal approach.
Manage coffee bean and beverage inventory, placing orders as needed.
Hospitality:
Provide an exceptional level of service, building rapport with customers and handling inquiries and concerns.
Educate customers about our artisanal products, ingredients, and the Forno Cultura story.
Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
Operational Duties:
Monitor inventory levels of front-of-house items, assist with ordering
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
Assist with visual merchandising, product displays, and special promotions.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cafe or similar environment.
Skilled barista with a strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development.
Strong communication abilities and problem-solving skills.
Passionate about artisanal food, customer service, and hospitality.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
