Chau Veggie Express is an award-winning plant-based modern Vietnamese restaurant, located in East Vancouver and inside the Granville Island Public Market. We are a fast-paced restaurant that combines traditional Vietnamese flavours with fresh produce, taking initiative in food security, sustainability, consciousness, and education - one veggie meal at a time. We are looking for passionate, fun and hardworking people to join our team at Chau Veggie Express who wants to join a supportive and rewarding work environment. We\'re looking for someone to fill a part-time - full-time position, splitting their time between our Granville Island location and East Vancouver location where required. The position is for work over the summer period, with the potential to take on a permanent role within our growing team in the future if desired and if it is a good fit. We are a rapidly growing business tapping into multiple sectors of food service, catering and retail and are always looking for people with leadership qualities and specialised skills to help propel us forward. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a professional, friendly, and fun manner. You are a hardworking and responsible individual with charisma and strong customer service skills
• Showcase leadership qualities to work collaboratively with team members
• Strong menu knowledge, have the ability to answer customer questions
• Make drinks, pack food orders, prep retail items
• Able to learn quick, multi-task, and work well in fast-pace environments
• Use our POS system to take orders and handle money
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness
• Open to discussion of various tasks outside of this job description
