Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining tables and service stations. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; willingness to learn is essential. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is beneficial. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and a willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Work Location: In person
