Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House and Kitchen Help Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary focus will be on delivering a memorable dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Handle cash transactions and process payments while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math skills. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining tables, counters, and service stations. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for both guests and staff. Assist in preparing and packaging supplies in the kitchen.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests. OWN TRANSPROTATION, this position is in Belmont Ontario, a small friendly rural community Southeast of London. MUST be available for any shifts between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm Tuesday thru Sunday including Friday evenings.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.55-$17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
