We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food and beverage orders.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials to enhance guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining quality standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality expectations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Participate in ongoing training related to food handling, sanitation, and customer service.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of the food industry. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Experience in serving and hospitality is a plus, along with an understanding of upselling techniques. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour
