Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as strong time management and sales skills. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Engage with customers to provide outstanding service, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Process transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering as needed. Uphold high standards of hospitality, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation.

Experience

Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. Experience in banquet service or catering environments is a plus. A background in the food industry or hospitality sector will be beneficial for success in this role.
