We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly, accurately, and with a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a welcoming manner, providing menus and answering any initial questions. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including food handling and adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members alike.
