Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and hospitality, with proven leadership skills to manage a dynamic team. This role requires exceptional customer service abilities, as well as experience in restaurant management and food safety practices. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities



Supervise and train front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to ensure excellent customer service. Oversee daily operations, including managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest interactions. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Manage inventory levels for front of house supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Implement training programs for staff on service standards, food safety, and POS systems (Maitre'd). Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Assist with managing day-to-day transactions: sales, cash flow, and inventory; tracking and processing invoices, processing payroll;

Requirements



Previous experience in as a supervisor or manager in a table service style restaurant or a similar role within the food industry is essential. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems - Maitre'd preferred Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills. Experience in interviewing and training staff is highly desirable. Background in kitchen operations or barista experience is a plus. Willing to work lunch and/or dinner service A passion for the food service industry and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
