Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor the incumbent would be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day operations of the front of house
  • Maintains the schedule of event staffers and box office attendants;
  • Liaises with administration and production personnel;
  • Welcomes the general public;
  • Scans or tears tickets, distributes programs, answers general questions;
  • Coordinates hall personnel for rental clients.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Experience in customer service and with coordinating a team of student workers. Ability to multi-task and give directions in high stress situations; professional and proactive. Must have experience with the Schulich School of Music concert and event polices; working knowledge of classical music, a music degree is an asset; be bilingual in French and English. Must be available to work nights and weekends according to the concert schedules. Scheduled hours are flexible and vary by month based on event activity in the venues. CPR and First Aid training an asset.

Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience
Hourly Salary: (AMUSE C) $16.66
Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 10 (Part time)
