Job Description

WYWRA is looking for Class 1 or 3 Commercial Truck Drivers to support our operations in Lashburn, SK.

As a WYWRA Commercial Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste delivery, removal and scheduled tipping services to customers. The driver will collect solid waste or recyclables on our front load units, transporting to local landfill as well as occasionally assisting in the operation of our roll off and picker truck routes.

Key Responsibilities: Support WYWRA operations in Lashburn and surrounding areas, as needed Pickup of waste at specified residential, commercial and transfer stations/job sites and dispose of at designated landfill Secure roll off bin as per company procedure and inspect in transit as required Perform vehicles pre and post inspections daily, as well as checking gas, oil, and other fluid levels. Replenishing fluid levels when necessary Complete the necessary paperwork for vehicle inspection and submit to the Supervisor on a daily basis Other duties as assigned by your manager or management team.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Must have valid Class 1 or 3 License with air brake endorsement Ability to perform physical exertions such as repetitive lifting, pushing and pulling items that weight up to 30 pounds as part of their daily routine1-2 years of previous driving experience Able to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent decision making skills Ability to follow specified guidelines and safety procedures Must maintain a professional appearance Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
