As a Front End Associate, you will be the vibrant face of our grocery store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for all our patrons. Your role will involve managing the cash register, assisting customers with their purchases, and promoting products through engaging demonstrations. With your positive attitude and strong communication skills, you'll create an inviting atmosphere that keeps customers coming back for more!

What you'll do

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions and handle cash with precision. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and encourage upselling opportunities. Assist with merchandising tasks by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked and visually appealing. Maintain phone etiquette by handling incoming calls professionally and directing them as needed. Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate cash handling and balance registers at the end of shifts. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall store performance and customer satisfaction.

Basic qualifications

Strong communication skills with a knack for engaging customers in conversation. Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
