Job Description

Super Save Group is seeking an experienced class 3 drivers to fill Front End Garbage Truck Driver position.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain compliance and operational safety. Handle loading waste bins and disposing into the vehicle containment system. Dumping loaded trucks at approved post collection facilities. Ensure safe operations of truck, while driving, loading and unloading. Promptly report any incidents and complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. Adhere to company Health and Safety Program standards and follow all safe operating practices. Making sure vehicle is properly cleaned at the end of shift and prepared for following shift. Maintain courteous and professional interactions with customers, colleagues, and supervisors at all times.

What you bring:

Minimum 1 year of Class 3 driving experience. Previous experience driving and operating trucks with hydraulic systems is an asset. Proven ability to maneuver trucks in tight or challenging spaces. Able to follow safe operating practices when working in and around landfills. Capable of handling the physical aspect of the job, pushing and pulling bins into place. Directional knowledge of the Lower Mainland. Ability to work independently.
