Job Description

Position: Front End React Developer
Location: Remote - Canada Only
Job Type: 6-month contract

We are hiring for a Front End React Developer. Our client is a leader in the retail/e-commerce industry and is looking to add to their engineering team.

Requirements of the role:

- Strong understanding of and experience with at least one modern Javascript framework (React preferred)
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Data-driven mindset
- Experience designing digital products or using existing design tools (Figma, Sketch, XD, etc.)
- Knowledge of modern front end build systems and languages (Webpack, ES6, Babel, etc.)
- Extensive experience with front end testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Enzyme, etc.)
- Strong understanding and proved experience applying WCAG Accessibility standards
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- 1+ years of experience contributing to design systems and a strong desire to build large scalable front-end systems using atomic design principles
- Proficient knowledge and experience on REST API, OAuth/OIDC, RPC/Protobuf
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to "think outside the box"
- 3+ years of working experience in a similar field/environment
