Position Overview:



The Front Desk Supervisor assists the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Rooms division for the property.

Key Responsibilities:



While leading your team at this property, you will be empowered to embrace the following duties, as well as other duties communicated by Management:

Day-to-day operations:



Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations, and room assignments. Manage reservations made by phone, email and through OTA's. Serve as Front Office liaison with Housekeeping and Maintenance to manage and block guest rooms as necessary. Communicate room's challenges/inventory concerns to front office team daily. Coordinate projects and activities, maintaining correct inventory of on-going rejuvenation projects in MMS (i.e. mattress, sofa, T.V. replacements in guest rooms) Attending telephone calls and monitor IA concierge. Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests. Communicate effectively with all other departments within the hotel. Stand-in for any member of staff that is unavailable to carry out their duties to prevent service disruptions. Other duties as assigned by management.

Providing great guest experiences:



Meeting and greeting guests with a warm welcome- act as the "face" of the resort. Ensure guest satisfaction is a top priority, with all departments consistently delivering exceptional service. Being attentive to guests' needs and wishes, taking opportunities to optimize the guest experience. Listen to customers' feedback and ensure that the complaints are addressed efficiently and effectively. Represent the culture of INNHotels and build repeat guests. Other duties as assigned by management.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent organizational, communication and people skills. Friendly and pleasant demeanor, courteous, self-motivated, and professional. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team. Ability to work different shift hours and stand for an entire shift.
Required Skills:

Strong computer skills: knowledge of WebRezPro PMS is preferred, but not necessary. Previous Front Desk, Housekeeping and/or Customer Service experience is required. Relevant education and experience in a hospitality or tourism setting is preferred.
